I work with people who love to move — runners, surfers, yogi’s, climbers, weekend warriors and endurance junkies. The ones who push their limits, chase new challenges, and want to stay in the game for the long haul.

My path to becoming a personal trainer started with my own struggles as an undersized college athlete. In high school, using the weight room as a performance tool wasn’t even a thought — I’m a baseball player I don’t want, or need, size so why workout? But early in my collegiate baseball career, I discovered that strength training wasn’t just about building muscle—it was about transforming performance, preventing injuries, and extending your ability to do what you love for longer. Later, while working with professional athletes and recreational movers across different sports, I kept running into similar pain points:

  • Some focused only on their sport, skipping the strength work their body needed—leading to nagging aches, recurring injuries, and time away from what they loved.

  • Others bounced between random workouts or group classes with no real progression—leaving them exhausted but without meaningful results.

These folks were committed and passionate, but the training options available to them didn’t truly match their goals. Performance training felt reserved for pros and wasn’t transferable to everyday life, general personal training was solely focused on aesthetics, and group fitness prioritized sweat and experiences over quality programming.

That gap is where Train With Miles was born.

my mission is simple, i’m here to help people perform better, for longer, in life and their sport through movement and science backed protocols (while looking good along the way). I’m stoked you’re here and read this far, I’d love to work with you!
