instead of buying packages and booking one session at a time until the package expires, each client pays a retainer fee for a standing appointment(s) in the schedule —for example every Tuesday Thursday at 9am Johnny Apple reserved his spot for private training. This provides less friction with booking, ensures you’ll always have your training time that works for your schedule, and you don’t have to remember to book sessions every week. you’re welcome to increase, decrease or maintain the same frequency of sessions month after month, or change times if your schedule adjusts, depending on availability.
Overall, this is designed with clients in mind who are committed to training for the long haul, have busy schedules and want the convenience of simply showing up weekly at their time and don’t want to bother with packages and weekly scheduling. Let’s talk specifics for private and semi-private training…
semi-private
each session is $150 per hour, you can reserve one, two, three, four or five standing sessions per week (depending on availability). If the other person does not show you’re not responsible for paying for their portion of the hour. semi-private training is only available in-person at my studio in greenpoint. If you choose to add additional sessions you can purchase these for $150 per session. unused sessions will roll over for up to two months, and may be scheduled during any available semi-private training hour. If you’re traveling your spot will only be held for up to two weeks, you can pay a partial rate hold if you’re away for longer than 2 weeks to maintain your time or switch times entirely to virtual private sessions (subject to availability).
private
each session is $200 per hour and you can purchase one, two, three, four or five standing sessions per week (depending on availability). private training may be held in-person or virtually through zoom. If you choose to add additional sessions you can purchase these for $200 per session. unused sessions will roll over for up to two months, and may be scheduled during any available semi-private training hour. If you’re traveling you have the option to keep your time and participate in virtual sessions, pay a partial rate to maintain your time, or choose a different time that works better for your schedule, subject to availability.

life happens, i get it! i just ask for 8 hours advance notice for all cancellations and rescheduled sessions without penalty. cancellations or rescheduled attempts made after the 8 hour mark will result in a loss of credit.

train with miles is an exclusive appointment based studio meaning, after your movement evaluation, we’ll work together to figure out a sustainable training schedule for you that balances your life responsibilities and other training demands to ensure progress is being made towards your goals. once a sustainable routine is discussed and agreed upon your ‘membership’ or ‘retainer fee’ auto-billed on the first of each month will reserve your spot(s) indefinitely; no re-booking, no remembering to schedule in advance, just show up at your time and train.
this is designed to create a consistent training experience which will yield the best results. if you need to move your time just shoot me a text or email and we can figure out the best course of action to keep you on track.
on the last week of each month I’ll add all of your sessions for the upcoming month to the calendar so you can review and let me know if the sessions work or if you’ll be out of town, busy or can’t make for whatever reason. It is your responsibility to keep me informed in a timely manner when you will not be able to make your sessions.
-
there are no commitments on any membership option, you can pause or cancel at anytime. to cancel your membership please let me know at least 15 days prior to the first of the month, since each client receives their own custom monthly program, which requires time and effort on my end, if you decide to cancel within this window, unfortunately, i cannot offer a full refund for that upcoming month. if you decide to pause you have two options:
(a) you can choose to pause your billing for up to 3 months but doing so relinquishes your time slot and I cannot guarantee it will be available upon your return
(b) you can pay half of your retainer fee to reserve your time, guaranteeing it will be ready for you upon your return (max hold of 60 days) -
if you refer a friend and they purchase a membership you get $100 off your membership for as long as they remain an active member (max 2 referrals at one time).
-
all new clients must complete a movement evaluation prior to participating in any training session. This allows me to understand how you move so i can program appropriate movements, weights, and rep schemes to ensure you have a fun, safe, and productive workout experience. After this session we’ll discuss the best training environment for you (private or semi-private), scheduling, and goal benchmarks to ensure we’re making progress toward your goals.

truly, the only difference is you’ll train next to someone in semi-private sessions and by yourself in private sessions.
both formats provide you with your fully custom program, your own squat rack with personal weights and accessories (no sharing required), and training under my watchful eye to help with form, corrections, and adjustments if needed.
Since Train with Miles is a limited-membership studio, every member is carefully vetted to ensure your training environment is safe, respectful, and enjoyable! if you ever have any concerns please don’t hesitate to tell me in person, text, or email me, your safety and comfort is my number one priority!
