white and black train with miles snapback hat - $25

black train with miles unstructured dad hat

the boring technical specs:

black 5 panel unstructured dad hat with mental clip closure, one size fits all

the stuff you actually care about:

i have a small head so dad hat’s usually don’t work well for me, this one’s different. It’s a lower profile hat so it almost feels like it melts into your head which means I never feel it when i wear it. this makes it great for running errands, hitting up the farmers market, taking the pooch out, or even hitting up a brunch with friends.

behind the logo:

in my studio there’s a mural paying homage to the greenpoint community as well as nyc as a whole, the working class who initially established greenpoint way back when, and the history of the terminal warehouse that I’m located in. the houses represent greenpoint being our home in the city and the ‘train with miles’ font skews towards graffiti street style to represent the gritty roots and culture of nyc, behind all the designer shops and luxury buildings.

black train with miles heavyweight tee

the boring technical specs:

7.5oz heavyweight 100% cotton unisex tee, fit’s slightly oversize.

the stuff you actually care about:

two big things i look for in a tee shirt, how does it hold up in the dryer and how does the neckline handle wear and tear? This tee has been put through the ringer in testing and safe to say it handles heavy drying without noticeable shrinkage and seems to get softer each cycle. the neckline has held up great also. this is a solid tee to wear either with sweats, jeans, on it’s own, or layered under a button up or sweater.

behind the design:

not another gym tee, am i right? that was the thought behind this shirt. most gym tee’s are boring and are less about giving you a quality shirt that you actually want to wear and more about turning you into a walking advertisement. this shirt was chosen first and foremost for it’s fit and feel (which is buttery by the way) with a subtle logo stitched in black thread to add some dimension without making you a walking billboard.

white train with miles snapback hat

the boring technical specs:

two-tone 5 panel semi-structured snapback hat with plastic clip closure, one size fits all

the stuff you actually care about:

this hat will truly act as your swiss army knife in your hat rotation looking equally as good sitting on your head slightly askew for a more relaxed look or pulled down when you’re not trying to get your hat blown off by the wind when biking across the williamsburg bridge.
